Our Story
Before UMZU, CEO Mike Dobson had spent decades building and scaling successful businesses. But personally, he found himself searching for something different: a way to better support his energy, sleep, and overall vitality through natural means.
Like many people, Mike was introduced to traditional, symptom-focused solutions. Instead, he became interested in a more foundational approach: nutrition, lifestyle, and targeted supplementation designed to support the body’s own systems.
That search led him to Christopher Walker, whose work focused on leveraging science-backed nutrition and natural compounds to help the body maintain balance. Their shared philosophy became the starting point for what would eventually become UMZU.
